The Kona 5-5 Fish is a compact soft top foam surfboard made for beginners, kids, and experienced surfers looking for a fun board for smaller waves. At 5 ft 5 in, it is easy to handle while still offering more speed and turning ability than a standard beginner foam board.

The fish inspired outline has a wide point pushed forward and a swallow tail to help the board generate speed, hold through turns, and stay loose in beach breaks and small summer surf.

The 5-5 is built with an EPS core, two stringers, and an epoxy, EPO, and XPE shell for a balance of strength, flex, and durability.

The removable fin system gives you several ways to ride it. Set it up as a thruster for added control, ride it as a twin fin for a looser feel, or remove the fins and use it as a bodyboard.

Fins and a leash are included, so the board is ready for use. Available in multiple colors.
